Calendula Flower Oil

The Calendula Flower Oil is made with calendula grown in our gardens and extra virgin olive oil from Ojai Olive Oil. This minimalistic multipurpose oil can be used as an oil cleanser, all-over face and body oil, hair and scalp treatment, shaving oil, massage oil and more. HOW TO USE
Warm 1-2 pumps in the palm of your hand and connect with the spirit of the calendula flower. Apply to face and body after cleansing. Allow your skin to drink in this nourishing flower elixir by gently massaging onto your face, hair, and body daily for a luminous, velvety touch.
PROTIP: Spritz face and neck with any seasonal hydrosol before applying the Calendula Flower Oil. All hydrosols help to tone the skin, preparing it to receive botanical nutrients on an even deeper level. This ritual will also extend the life of the oil both on your skin and in your bottle.

OIL CLEANSER
Warm 1-2 pumps in the palm of your hand. Gently massage face and neck. Using a warm, wet washcloth, remove access oil. After oil cleansing, mist liberally with the hydrosol of your choice before applying the Calendula Flower Oil as a facial moisturizer.
PROTIP: This oil can be used to remove eye and face makeup with ease.

HAIR + SCALP
Warm 1-4 pumps in the palm of your hand and apply delicately with fingertips to the scalp. Gently massage your entire scalp to calm and soothe dry, itchy skin and dandruff. To stimulate and awaken your hair follicles, rigorously massage your scalp to encourage healthy circulation. If you would like to use this oil as a hair hydrating treatment, simply apply to dry hair and let it absorb for 5-10 hours before washing. It also makes for an excellent styling and enlivening agent for all hair types and colors. PROTIP: If you are using the dropper, 2-4 full droppers will hydrate and nourish your entire scalp. Simply part hair into sections and slowly apply drops down each line and then massage into scalp. For best results, use once per week before washing.

SHAVING OIL
Use the Calendula Flower Oil as a shaving companion for face, legs, armpits and other bits. After shaving, spritz liberally with hydrosol and apply a thin layer of the Calendula Flower Oil to lock in moisture.

SCARS TISSUE
The Calendula Flower Oil can be helpful for soothing scar tissue and lightening the appearance of scars. Apply a small amount to the affected area and gently massage for 5-10 minutes daily. For particularly deep or troublesome scars, eczema, or psoriasis follow the light massage with an application of the Hemp Butter and cover with a bandage. Repeat as needed until desired effect is achieved.

It also contains squalene, a deeply hydrating and nourishing compound for the skin. In addition to its restorative properties, olive oil delivers an array of essential nutrients, encompassing vitamins A, D, K, and E, which contribute to overall skin health. We rely on organically grown, cold-pressed olive oil sourced from Ojai Olive Oil for our solar infusions, primarily due to its stability and remarkable fat content, which enables efficient extraction of nutrients from herbs. This high-quality olive oil is a cornerstone in nearly all our topical formulas, ensuring that our products are imbued with the nurturing benefits of this exceptional oil.
